To be honest I don't have much to talk about today. I slept in for once this week and finally got up and ate lunch, then I went to hit. Our team got 2 new guys today and they are from New York, which is hilarious to me because of their accent.

I finalized my visit today, I'm going Saturday to Delta State. I will work out for him a little just so he can see me hit and throw some. When I talked to him today he made it sound like if he liked me then I would walk in there and be the everyday catcher. Which is awesome. No, I don't think they have my major, but the more money I get for sports the better off I am. My offer from UAH just isn't going to cut it. The coach at UAH said he is looking for more money for me, but when I texted him the other day to see if anything has changed he never wrote me back. I don't know what he is thinking.

5/26/09

Today started out with a 9 oclock practice and I have decided that our coach loves practicing for no less than 3 hours starting at 9. In my opinion, 9 is too early but 10 is fine. Don't ask why but apparently that hour of sleep does wonders. Our practices seem so drawn out it sucks.

Last night Anthony, our host parents, and I watched Marley and Me. It was a good movie but I will never watch it again, it makes me too sad. We have decided that we are going to start having a "host family" movie night. They are a cool family.

Today I talked to the Delta State baseball coach, and I am going on a visit there on Saturday. As I already told Beth there is a chance that I might get an offer from a school about an hour outside of Austin. I talked to the guys on my team about them, they play there, and they said it's a great place to play. We will see what happens.

I'm just getting started doing this so I'm not great at the whole title thing yet. Maybe I'll get creative.

Why am I doing this?

Honestly I'm doing this because I have a lot of long boring days in Macon Georgia.  I thought this would give everyone a little way to keep up with what I'm doing.  So far we have had three set practices with the whole team. On the other days we go to the baseball academy whenever we want to hit and throw.  I'm not going to lie but as I can tell right now my coach is a weird one. Anthony Woods and I have been put with a host family, they are in their twenties with a one year old boy named Know (he's cool). We have had some fun here already, we got to see some of Macon's finest and also some of their very worst. I just thought I would start doing this so everyone could see what I was up to. (just bored)
